§ 36.16.100. Setbacks for ridgetops

Where tree removal is involved, new vineyard and orchard planting on ridgetops shall be set back fifty feet (50') from the delineated slope break of descending natural slopes greater than fifty percent (50%) for more than fifty feet (50') in slope length. Setback areas for ridgetops shall be managed in compliance with the department's best management practices for agricultural erosion and sediment control.
