§ 3-52-2. Visual inspections.

  • (a)

    Prior to registering a commercial vehicle and every twelve (12) months thereafter, every commercial vehicle shall be visually inspected by the airport to verify compliance with the requirements of this article.

    (b)

    Failure to pass any portion of the visual inspection may result in the commercial vehicle being prohibited from picking up passengers at the airport until the discrepancies have been corrected to the satisfaction of the airport manager or any official having jurisdiction. If a commercial vehicle fails a visual inspection, all identified discrepancies shall be corrected and the vehicle shall be submitted for a reinspection.

    (c)

    The airport will charge a fee for every required visual inspection, including reinspections, based upon the rates and charges established annually by resolution of the board of supervisors.
