§ 2-1. Meetings of board of supervisors.

Regular meetings of the board of supervisors shall be held at 8:30 a.m. on each Tuesday, or as soon thereafter as a quorum may be present, except the board shall generally not meet on any fifth Tuesday of a calendar month, or on any Tuesday following a Monday holiday. If a sufficient number of the members of the board of supervisors to constitute a quorum are not present by 12:00 noon on the date and at the place of any such regular meeting, or on the date and at the place of any adjourned or recessed meeting, a less number than a quorum may adjourn or recess such meeting.

Meetings of the board shall be held in the meeting room of the board of supervisors at the Sonoma County Administration Center in the city of Santa Rosa, unless the time, date and location are changed by a majority of the board, and so noticed.

When the board of supervisors is convened in a regular or special session, it may adjourn or recess to a subsequent day or from day to day until its business is finished and may, at the time and place to which such meeting is so adjourned or recessed, transact any business which it could have transacted at the meeting which is so adjourned or recessed.
