§ 18-60. Purpose and application.

(a)

Purpose. The purpose of this Article is to comply with and effectuate the intent of Government Code section 53075.5 and other applicable laws, to protect public health, safety and welfare.

(b)

Application. This article shall apply only to the operation of taxicabs to solicit, accept or transport passengers starting at a point inside the unincorporated area of the county, regardless of destination.
